2021 Jeep Compass facelift to be launched in India on January 27, know what will be the price

According to reports, the company can launch it in the Indian market at an ex-showroom price of Rs 15 to 21 lakh. After the launch, it will face stiff and direct competition in India with vehicles like Tata Harrier, MG Hector, Hyundai Tucson, and Skoda Karoq.

Many major changes have been made to the look of the 2021 Jeep Compass. There will also be a new dark shade green body color option. This SUV has become even more aggressive than before. It gets a 7-slate grille with a large chrome finish, LED DRLs with thinner-looking LED headlamps, redesigned bumpers, larger air dams, new fog laps, new 5-spoke alloy wheels, new LED tail lamps.

For safety it has seven airbags, antilock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), electronic stability program (ESP), brake assist (BA), hill assist (HA) and hill descent control (HDC). Safety features are provided.

It has a 10.1-inch touchscreen unit. This SUV features FCA’s new U-Connect 5 system with an upgraded instrument console, which will support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Talking about its performance, like the current model, it will have a 1.4-liter multi-air petrol engine and a 2.0-liter multi-jet diesel unit. It will also get a 9-speed torque converter with 6-speed manual gearbox and a choice of 7-speed DCT automatic.
