Saif Ali Khan’s recent release web series ‘Tandava’ is not taking the name of the controversy. After being accused of insulting Hindu deities on social media, BJP leaders have come out openly against it. Seeing increasing public opposition, the Maharashtra government has increased the security of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s house and a police party has been installed outside the house.

BJP MLA Ram Kadam has filed a written complaint against Saif Ali Khan and the makers of his series at Ghatkopar Police Station. Kadam also staged a protest with some people and demanded a ban on ‘Tandava’. He said, “Strict action should be taken against the producer, director and actor of the web series.” Earlier, Kadam had also accused this web series that it was going to spread anti-Dalit and communal hatred against Hindus.

Earlier, BJP MP Manoj Kotak has come out against it openly and has said that the religious sentiments of Hindus are being hurt through this series. Talking to Navbharat Times, Manoj Kotak said that anti-Hindu content is being served continuously in the name of web series, which is in dire need to be banned immediately. He said that Hindu deities are made fun of in movies and web series which hurt Hindu sentiments.

A few policemen and a police van have been seen outside Saif and Kareena’s house following protests from the BJP and the people. Some photos have surfaced in which policemen are seen guarding the gate outside Saif’s house in security. Please tell that Saif Ali Khan is currently out of Mumbai to shoot his film, while Kareena Kapoor is pregnant and alone at home.
