In Jafar Pur Kalan, a retired soldier was shot dead by miscreants in a bloody game of gang warfare. However he had come to kill his crooked brother. Police have found faces of miscreants in CCTV footage. They are being identified. The young man whom he had come to kill is said to be close to Manjeet Mahal, while the accused are believed to be associated with the Nandu gang. The name of the deceased is Mukesh (45). He retired from the Army and was looking for a new job.

Police said that the bike riders came to Rakesh’s house yesterday evening. He asks Mukesh about his brother Rakesh. Rakesh is the declared crook of the area and Manjit is the supporter of the Mahal gang. Mukesh said that he does not know about Rakesh, on which the miscreants shot at him.

DCP Santosh Meena said that the police had received several CCTV footage. The number plate on the bike on which both the crooks came, has been found to be fake in the investigation. Rakesh had enmity with the Manoj Muchar gang. Police is also investigating this angle. Both Manoj Mucher and Manjeet Mahal are in jail, while no one knows about Nandu’s location. There has been speculation about Nandu’s escape abroad.
