Brahmastra Formation at the end of the second Rafael flypast
The Airforce flypast will have two Rafale fighter jets. One will appear in the Rafal Ekalavya Formation and the other will form the Brahmastra Formation at the end of the Rafal flypast. Multirole fighter jet Rafal joined the Indian Airforce in September 2020. So far 8 Rafals have joined the Air Force and a total of 36 Rafals are to come. Of the 42 aircraft involved in the flypast, 15 will be fighter aircraft, 5 transport aircraft, 17 helicopters, 1 vintage, and 4 Army aviation helicopters. The Air Force squad parading Rajpath on Republic Day will include 4 officers and 96 air warriors.
