Babri Masjid party Iqbal Ansari has accused the president of the Indo-Islamic Culture Foundation. He has stated that this trust is a private trust. People do not believe it. 16 months have passed since it became a trust. In this period, the trust has collected only 20 lakh rupees for the construction of the mosque.

Iqbal Ansari, a former advocate of the Babri Masjid, said that the people of the trust are telling that till now only 20 lakh rupees have come while crores of rupees have come to the Ram temple. All this is the gift of Lord Rama, there are people all over the world who believe in him. At the same time, a trust made by Zafar Farooqui for the mosque is his personal trust. Had the people of the trust been social, a lot of money would have come for the construction of the mosque as well.

Ansari says that these people are not social. People do not know them and do not believe in them, so far they have been able to raise only 20 lakh rupees. We want the trust to be reshuffled, until the trustees are changed, people will not be able to participate in large numbers.

In fact, according to the Supreme Court’s decision on the Ayodhya dispute on 9 November 2019, the Sunni Central Waqf Board was allotted 5 acres of land for the construction of the mosque. After the land was available for the mosque, the Sunni Central Waqf Board established the Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation Trust.
