Director Hansal Mehta’s father passes away, Bollywood celebrities mourn

Hansal tweeted, ‘I always thought he would live longer than me. I was wrong. I will see you again papa. The most handsome man in the world and the most humble and generous person I have ever met. Hansal further wrote, ‘Thank you papa for your unconditional love. Thank you my legend, my hero.’

Bollywood celebrities have mourned the death of Hansal’s father. Actress and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt wrote, ‘Hansal my deepest condolences to you and your family.’ Many other celebs like Farhan Akhtar, Manoj Bajpayee, Apoorva Asrani and music director Vishal Dadlani have also expressed their grief and condolences on the demise of Hansal’s father.

Talking about the work front, last year Hansal Mehta’s web series ‘Scam 1992’ was very much liked. It is considered one of the best web series of the last year. The series was based on the life of Harshad Mehda, a stock scammer in 1992, in which Prateek Gandhi was seen in the lead role.
