According to the leaked report, the Maruti Swift CNG and Maruti Dzire CNG will be powered by the 1.2-litre Dualjet K12C petrol engine along with the CNG kit. While the gasoline unit of these cars is capable of generating 81bhp of power and 113Nm of torque, it is reduced to 11bhp and 18Nm of torque in CNG mode. But the upcoming models of both these cars i.e. 2021 Maruti Swift CNG and Maruti Dzire CNG will generate power up to 70bhp at 6,000rpm and up to 95Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. In such a situation, those who were currently climbing these cars by installing CNG kits from above, they will now prefer to buy new CNG models, because they will be quite powerful.
