Whereas, in January 2020, 45,242 units of the company were sold in the domestic market. Comparing January 2021 to December 2020, the company’s sales registered an 8 percent month-on-month increase. In December 2020, Tata sold 53,430 units in the Indian market.
Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles (MHCV)
In terms of commercial vehicles, the company’s medium and heavy commercial vehicles (MHCV) sales grew by 22 per cent year-on-year. The company sold 8416 MHCV units in January 2021. Whereas, in January 2020, the company’s 6914 MHCV units were sold.
Intermediate and Light Commercial Vehicles (I & LCV)
The company’s Intermediate and Light Commercial Vehicles (I & LCV) sales grew by 29 percent year-on-year. In January 2021, 4955 units were sold in this segment of the company. Whereas, 3827 units of this segment were sold in January 2020.
