Gehlot said that the recommendations made by the GoM to start teaching-learning activities in educational institutions of the state have been approved. The Home Department has issued detailed guidelines for the prevention of corona infection in educational institutions.
The government has also clarified that classes in schools will be able to run with only 50% attendance capacity. Strict adherence to the prescribed protocols and guidelines issued from time to time will be ensured in all educational campuses for the prevention of Covid-19infection.
Guidelines for conducting classes in educational institutions
• The conduct of regular teaching activities of the state government / private universities / colleges / schools (from class 9th to 12th) can be started from September 1 with 50 percent capacity.
• Academic and non-educational staff of the university/college/school and the drivers of buses, autos and cabs operated for transportation to the institute, etc. will have to compulsorily take at least one dose of the vaccine 14 days before.
• All the coaching institutes of the state will be able to conduct the meeting with 50 percent capacity from 1st September with the condition that their academic and non-academic staff have taken both the doses of the vaccine. Also, through e-intimation, the number of students studying in the institute, sitting capacity and percentage of total staff/personnel/students will have to be uploaded on the online portal https://covidinfo.rajasthan.gov.in by the concerned institute. .
• School buses/autos/cabs operated for the movement of academic and non-educational staff/students will be allowed only according to the seating capacity of the vehicle.
• The seating arrangement of the students for the study of regular classes will be done by leaving one seat in such a way that the attendance of the students in each class does not exceed 50 percent of the capacity of the room.
• Preference and encouragement will be given to online/distance learning teaching.
• Regular teaching activities of classes 1 to 8 in schools will be conducted through online mode only till further orders.
