Police reached the spot and took the injured girl to Jagpravesh Chandra Hospital. The victim told that a boy named Sumit slit his throat with a knife, who fled after the incident. The police started the investigation by registering a case of murderous attack. Checked surrounding CCTV footage. Through technical surveillance and local intelligence, the location of the accused was found in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
