From Mukhtar Ansari to Atiq Ahmed, the effect of zero tolerance strategy of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath regarding law and order is visible on the ground as well. After the state, the police have also identified 800 criminal mafia to become don at the district level. Strict action is being taken against them so that law and order is maintained even at the district level. The police are breaking the back of the miscreants by seizing the property from attachment. Police have seized such illegal assets worth about 2.5 billion rupees.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had already expressed his commitment regarding law and order that there is no place for criminals in the state. Will he be in jail or out of state. While tightening the noose on the big mafia at the state level, even at the district level, big and habitual criminals have been marked as criminal mafia.

Over 8,000 cases, 668 arrests
According to the information received from the police department, till July around 800 criminal mafia have been identified at the district level and 668 accused have been arrested by registering more than eight thousand cases. Not only this, the police have also killed three criminal mafia in the encounter. Also, while attaching 12 accused, NSA has been imposed on 25 accused and action has been taken against 567 accused under the Gangster Act.

Action on 233 under Goonda Act
Police has taken action under the Goondas Act on 233 criminal mafia habitually becoming a hindrance in law and order at the district level and 11 arms licenses have been cancelled. Apart from this, the history sheet of 382 such criminal mafia has also been opened and 274 accused have been arrested and sent to jail.

This list includes Mukhtar Ansari, Ateeq Ahmed, Brijesh Kumar Singh alias Arun Kumar Singh, Omprakash alias Bablu Srivastava, Munir, Khan Mubarak, Amit Kasana, Akash Jat, Udham Singh etc.

ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar says that to further improve the law and order, strict action is being taken at the micro level itself, so that the fear of law is in everyone. This action against the criminals will continue uninterrupted.
