After this, the police traced the accounts in which the money was transferred. Then with the help of Jalandhar police, the house of Vijay was raided. During the raid, Vijay escaped. The police caught his wife. When the whole thing was told to the wife, she got Vijay to talk on the phone. Seeing himself trapped, Vijay got scared.

After this, the student started putting money in the bank account mentioned by the cleric. The student had transferred Rs 8.80 lakh to two accounts of the cleric. After this, the girl informed her family members about the matter.
