Maruti has a market share of 66% in the hatchback segment. On the other hand, the company has about 50 percent market share in the overall domestic passenger vehicle segment market.

Currently, cars like Vitara Brezza and Maruti Suzuki S-Cross are available in the SUV segment in the SUV segment. Now the company will try to make its presence felt in this segment.

The company launched the Celerio hatchback
The company launched its all-new Celerio hatchback on Thursday. The company has launched this car with an initial price of Rs 4.99 lakh. Maruti Suzuki dominates the hatchback segment in India. The new Maruti Celerio is the first car to come with the company’s next-gen K10C petrol engine. This engine will also be used in many other models of Maruti Suzuki in future. This engine generates 65bhp power and 89Nm torque. The car has been launched with a 5-speed manual gearbox and AMT. This car is equipped with 5th HEARTEC technology.
