Shahdara District Police has arrested five dangerous miscreants, including a minor. The adults have been identified as Faisal (20), Aditya (19) of Shaheed Nagar, Furkan alias Waseem (20) and Arun Chauhan (28) of Purani Seemapuri. The police have claimed to have solved three cases including two murder attempts in Seemapuri area. The knife used in the crime has also been recovered from the accused.
DCP (Shahdara) R. Satyasundaram told that on the intervening night of 14-15, there was an incident of stabbing a youth in Seemapuri area. The injured’s brother Amit revealed that Furqan alias Mantle of Shaheed Nagar along with his associates carried out this. Seemapuri police started investigation by registering a case under sections of murder and rioting. Several teams were deployed to solve the incident. The team of special staff took the help of local intelligence and the footage of CCTV cameras was scanned. Based on this the accused were identified.
In the suspicion of love-love, the friend killed his friend by stabbing him with a knife.
The police nabbed all the accused from a house in Seemapuri. Landlord Arun Chauhan was also arrested, who was wanted in a case of assault. During interrogation, the accused told that they had a transaction of Rs 400 with the victim. There was a fight on this matter and Faisal attacked with a knife. Earlier, on November 8, the accused had also attacked a youth named Sajid (22) with a knife. All of them were on the run. There were already six cases against Faisal, while two cases were registered against Arun. The four adult accused used to do petty jobs.
