While sharing the poster of the film on his Instagram, Ranveer Singh has informed that the film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages on 4 June 2021. It is also learned that the film will also be released in 3D. The film is based on the story of Indian cricket team winning the World Cup in 1983 and Ranveer Singh is going to play the role of Kapil Dev in it.
The film stars Ranveer Singh as well as actors like Deepika Padukone, Hardy Sandhu, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jeeva, Aimee Virk, Saqib Saleem and Pankaj Tripathi. Deepika Padukone will be seen in the film as Kapil Dev’s Wife Romi.
