Mumbai : Bollywood actor Roshan Roshan (Hrithik Roshan) remembered his grandfather Roshan Lal Nagrath (Roshan Lal Nagrath) on his 106th anniversary today. The actors have also written an emotional note sharing a throwback picture of Dadaji on their account. The song ‘O Re Taal Mile Nadi Ke Jal Mein’ from the 1968 film ‘Anokhi Raat’ can be heard playing. This song was directed by Roshan Lal Nagath.

Roshan Lal Nagath was a veteran music director of Bollywood. Roshan Roshan wrote in the note, “Today is the 106th birth anniversary of my Grandfather Roshan, another name I inherited.” Though I have never had the honor of meeting, teaching him or experiencing his love physically, I have found an invaluable treasure. His work…his music. Legends have a way of transcending time through their art. Their songs have been the foundation of the Roshan family’s journey and it is a matter of great pride for me to be a part of their six dynasty.”

Artist Roshan wrote about the song ‘O Re Taal Mile Nadi Ke Jal Mein’, “Celebrating my Daduji’s immortal legacy through one of my favorite attractions.” I celebrate this song even more because my grand father never got a chance to celebrate its success… These wonderful songs were recorded soon after he passed away.
