The national rate of recovery from Covid-19has come down to 81.90 percent.

According to the data, the number of people recovering from the disease has risen to 1,79,30,960 while the death rate from infection has been recorded at 1.09 percent. The number of Covid-19patients in the country crossed 20 lakh on August 7 last year. On the other hand, the number of Covid-19patients crossed 30 lakh on 23 August, 40 lakh on 5 September and 50 lakh on 16 September.

The number of those growing by epidemic is increasing continuously
After this, on September 28, cases of Covid-19had crossed 60 lakhs, on 11 October 70 lakhs, on 29 October 80 lakhs, on 20 November 90 lakhs, on 19 December it had crossed one crore. On May 4, India had crossed the mark of two crores, reaching critical condition.

How many samples have been investigated so far, ICMR said
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 30,04,10,043 samples have been tested till May 7, of which 18,08,344 samples were tested on Friday.
