Last week, Wajhe’s counsel had moved a special NIA court seeking permission to allow him to recuperate at home. But the National Investigation Agency (NIA) opposed the application, saying he may even try to escape if he is imprisoned in the house. Judge A. T. Wankhede on Wednesday dismissed Vala’s plea.
Prosecution sources said that Wajhe will now be taken to Taloja jail. The court asked Vajhe to eat home-cooked food and ask for medical advice as per the requirement. J. allowed to be taken to the hospital. Vajhe and nine other accused are currently lodged in jail in judicial custody.
