Aryan Drugs Case: Witness Prabhakar’s lawyer said – The transaction between Aryan’s team and Kiran Gosavi is not wrong

Recently another witness had confirmed the allegations of money transactions between Gosavi and Shah Rukh Khan’s team. But Sam D’Souza (NCB informer in this case) claimed that NCB and its officials had no knowledge about it. Following D’Souza’s claims, our partner ETimes spoke to Prabhakar Sail’s lawyer Tushar Khandare to get his views on the many contradictory statements that have come to the fore in the matter.

‘3 witnesses accepted the transaction, it is not good for NCB’
Referring to the statement of Sam D’Souza, Khandare said, ‘Sam D’Souza has never denied that no payment has been made. He admitted that a payment had been made. He had also mentioned about Rs 50 lakh and said that the people involved in the trap were NCB officers. He is the third witness to say that payment was made and it is not good for NCB.

‘Those who spoke on money transactions knew NCB’
Prabhakar Sail alleged in his statements that an amount of Rs 25 crore was discussed between Gosavi and Shahrukh’s team. Khandare further said, ‘Kiran Gosavi has also mentioned the transaction in his statement. However, he did not specify clearly where the money went. So it is clear that the people who spoke about the payouts during the NCB trap knew and were well aware of the NCBs. Sam D’Souza was also heard praising him. Overall, we were not wrong when we talked about money transactions. NCB cannot deny it. There is a prima facie case against him in this case.

Prabhakar cell waiting for summons, NCB has not called till now
Khandare assured that Prabhakar cell is ready to cooperate with NCB and also recorded a statement of his recently in front of NCB’s Vigilance team. But Prabhakar Sail was waiting for the NCB team to issue summons to him as well. “We have given an application to NCB that we are available and we have also stated that we have not received any summons from NCB operations team as claimed by some NCB officials. We request them to please summon us and we will cooperate with them like we did with their vigilance team.
