The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has so far arrested 20 people in the cruise ship case. Among them is Aryan, son of film actor Shahrukh Khan. But the NCB investigation is still not over. Now film actress Ananya Pandey has also come under his scanner, whose chats related to drug interactions with Aryan have come to the hands of NCB.
When the Sessions Court on Wednesday rejected the bail pleas of Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Munmun Dhamecha, it took out a 19-page order for not granting bail. This order contains many important information related to this case. For example, on October 2, Aryan Khan and Arbaaz Merchant left Aryan’s house together for a cruise ship. In the investigation of NCB, it was also revealed that 6 grams of charas was found from Arbaaz on that day, which was going to be consumed not only by Arbaaz but also Aryan in the cruise. The NCB investigation also revealed that Aryan used to take drugs from Arbaaz and related sources in the past as well.
The gist of what NCB told the court was that Aryan Khan was in contact with some people abroad who are part of the International Drugs Syndicate. NCB got this information from CDR of Aryan’s mobile and WhatsApp chats. Aryan himself did not reveal the names of the people associated with the International Drugs Network to the investigating officers. NCB says that only Aryan knows the names of people associated with this International Drugs Network. So if he gets bail, there is every possibility that he can tamper with the evidence.
Another important point of NCB related to Aryan Khan has also been written in the Sessions Court Judgment. NCB’s counsel told the court during the arguments that this is not the first time that accused number one i.e. Aryan Khan has been involved in illegal activities related to drugs. NCB has sufficient evidence of Aryan’s tie-up with some foreign nationals and unknown persons in the form of WhatsApp chats. Hard drugs and bulk quantities of drugs have been repeatedly talked about in these chats. This means that Aryan’s role is not limited to just taking drugs.
Wires of such connected accused to each other
The NCB also told the court that in this case accused number 17 Achit Kumar, who has been caught, used to supply drugs to Aryan. At the time of arrest, 2.6 grams of ganja was also found from the accused. Accused number 19 Shivraj Harijan used to supply drugs to Arbaaz Khan, friend of Aryan Khan. 62 grams of charas was confiscated from Shivraj. Munmun Dhamecha of Madhya Pradesh was also arrested on the day Aryan Khan and Arbaaz Merchant were arrested. 5 grams of hashish was found from him. Two Nigerians have also been arrested in this case.
NCB says that during interrogation, he told that he used to supply MDMA drugs pills to Mohak Jaiswal, accused number 5 arrested in this case. Mohak Jaiswal used to give these bullets to accused number 6 Ishmit and accused number 8 Nupur. NCB has also arrested a drug supplier/distributor named Abdul Qadir. NCB named him as accused number 9 in their case and claimed that he also supplied MDMA ecstasy pills to Mohak Jaiswal. On the day of arrest, apart from 2.6 grams of ecstasy, 54.3 grams of commercial quantity MD drug was also found from Abdul Qadir.
NCB has also arrested an accused named Shreyash Nair in this case. 2 grams of charas was found from him, while 2.4 grams of ganja was also seized from another accused named Manish Rajgaria. In this case, an accused named Avin Sahu was also arrested on the charge of consuming drugs. Not only this, four organizers were also arrested.
That’s why NCB did not consider Aryan Khan apart from all drugs. Despite no seizure of drugs from him on October 2, the entire case was treated as part of the drugs syndicate. Therefore, the NCB included sections 28 and 29 of the NDPS Act in its case and opposed the bail of all on this basis, agreeing with which the sessions court rejected the bail applications of Aryan, Munmun and Arbaaz on Wednesday.
