All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen Chief Asaduddin Owaisi has criticized the remarks made by Union Minister Prakash Javadekar on the Ram temple and the disputed structure demolition case. Prakash Javadekar said during an event at the BJP office in Delhi that a historic mistake was rectified in Ayodhya on 6 December 1992.

Apart from this, Javadekar also said that foreign invaders had built a disputed structure by breaking the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Owaisi told Javadekar, calling these statements shameful, why he did not accept this in the court.

Actually, BJP leader Javadekar had recently said during a function organized in the office of the Bharatiya Janata Party, ‘Why did they break the Ram temple when foreign invaders came? There are millions of temples in the country but they (foreign invaders) understood that the life of this country is in Ram temple, a disputed structure was built there after the attack on Ram temple. It was not a mosque because where there is no worship, it is not a mosque.

‘Why was not so proudly accepted in court?’
On this statement of Javadekar, Owaisi tweeted, the Supreme Court has said that the mosque was built after breaking the temple … there is no evidence of this. It was also said that the demolition of the mosque was to break the law. The CBI court has said that there is no evidence of any conspiracy in the Babri Masjid demolition. But why did you not accept this matter so proudly in the court. Shameful. ‘
