Toyota Kirloskar Motor-TKM has announced an increase in prices across its line-up, shocking its customers. That is, from April 1, 2021, Toyota cars will become expensive. However, the company has not yet given any official information about how much the price of the cars will be increased. But it is definitely certain that the increased prices will vary depending on different models and variants. In such a situation, if you want to buy Toyota cars at current prices, then you have to buy them by 31 March 2021.

Toyota says that it has tried to control the cost increase and only a minimum portion will be given to the customers. On the back of the rising prices, the company says that due to the increase in raw material prices, the cost of making vehicles has increased considerably, due to which this decision is being taken.

Toyota said in a statement, “In order to reduce the huge increase in cost, there is a need to increase the prices of vehicles. We have tried our best to control the increased prices and only a small portion is being given to the customers. is.”

It is not that only Toyota is increasing the prices of its cars. Apart from Toyota, Maruti Suzuki India, Renault India and Isuzu are also going to increase the prices of their cars. The cars of all these companies will become expensive from April 2021.

Earlier, in February 2021, Toyota sold a total of 14,075 units in the Indian market. Whereas, in February 2020, Toyata’s total 10,352 units were sold in the domestic market. Toyota sales grew 36 percent in February 2021 compared to February 2020. However, if compared to January 2021, during this period, the company’s sales registered a 27 per cent month-on-month increase.
