Bajaj Auto Limited-BAL has announced to extend the limit of warranty and free service facility by July 31, 2021 at all its dealerships across the country. The country’s two-wheeler manufacturer has taken this decision in view of the lockdown in several states due to the current state of Corona across the country. This decision will benefit only those customers whose free service and warranty facilities were expiring between April 1, 2021 and May 31, 2021. In such a situation, the limit of warranty and free service facility has been extended till July 31, 2021 from Bajaj Auto. It is important to note here that the limit of free service and warranty has been extended only for Bajaj two-wheelers. From 2019, Bajaj’s motorcycles come with a 5-year warranty.
The company said in an official statement in the matter that the decision has been taken to prioritize the safety and well-being of customers and associates of the company. The company stated, “We accept the challenges that our customers are facing due to the interruption caused by the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. Like last year, we are once again all of our customers. We assure that their vehicles will be taken care of. In this episode we are offering an extension of service period of two months. “
Bajaj Auto’s sister brands, KTM and Husqvarna have also extended the service and warranty period of all their motorcycles. The warranty benefits and free service period at KTM and Husqvarna Products has been extended until July 31, 2021.
Apart from Bajaj Auto, KTM and Husqvarna, other two-wheeler companies like Hero MotoCorp, Honda TwoWheelers India, TVS Motor Company (TVS) and Yamaha also own two-wheelers. Extended the service and warranty period.
