Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued instructions to the officials regarding Bakrid to be celebrated on July 21. During the meeting on Monday, the Chief Minister said that all necessary arrangements should be made in the state on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha i.e. Bakrid. Not only this, instructions were given to specially follow the corona rules during Bakrid festival.
Prohibition on gathering of more than 50 people
During the meeting with Team-9 on Monday, the Chief Minister of UP has given special instructions to the officials regarding Bakrid. In view of the third wave of corona infection, the Chief Minister directed that more than 50 people should not gather at one place on Bakrid. While giving instructions to the officers present in the meeting, he said that special care should be taken of cleanliness during the events being organized due to the festival.
Sacrifice will be done at marked places
CM Yogi has banned the sacrifice of all banned animals, including cows, camels, etc., in the events held during the festival. For this, the officials have been asked to keep a close watch. Along with this, CM Yogi has completely banned the sacrifice of animals in public places. He said that instead of public places, only identified places or private premises should be used for animal sacrifice.
