The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the datesheet for the first term of 10th and 12th board exams. According to the announcement made on Monday, the first term board examination for class 10th will start from November 30. At the same time, the 12th class examination will start from December 1. Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj informed that the declared datesheet is for the main subjects. Whereas the program of minor subjects will be sent to the schools separately.
The Minor Subjects (Minor) exams for class 10th and 12th will start from November 17 and November 16 respectively.
Dividing the academic session, conducting two-term exams and rationalizing the syllabus were part of the special assessment plan for class X and class 12 board exams for 2021-22. It was announced in July in the wake of the Corona pandemic.
CBSE had last week said that the first term board exams for class 10th and 12th would be conducted offline in November-December.
The board had said that the exam would be optional. Students will have 90 minutes (one and a half hour) to solve each paper. The exam will start from 11:30 am instead of 10:30 due to winter.
