The miscreant is so clever that he carried out all these incidents through a bike. Despite this, he remained out of the grip of the police for several days. After every four-five incidents, he used to get the bike changed by getting the color sticker installed. The team of Dwarka AATS has arrested the miscreant from Googamedi, Rajasthan.

DCP Dwarka Santosh Kumar Meena told that a total of 26 cases are registered against Arjun alias Gopu in different police stations. These include 10 in Dwarka district, 13 in Western district and 3 in Rohini district. So far Gopu has done more than 100 chain snatching incidents. The important thing is that in many cases it also used to do Reiki of women. Before snatching, he used to cycle around the women on the bike, when he was sure that the chain was genuine, then he used to carry out the snatching.

Seeing the police, Gopu tried to run away and he ran about one and a half kilometer deep into the fields, but was caught.

He told that he has given many gold chains to his mother, sister, brother-in-law and other relatives. The police raided his house, but the house was locked and all were found absconding.
