The Renault Triber has achieved another milestone. The country’s cheapest 7-seater car has crossed the 75000 sales mark. Let us know that Renault Triber is the cheapest MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) in the country, which the company launched in the Indian market in the year 2019. The bumper demand for this vehicle can be gauged from the fact that Triber’s market share in the utility vehicle segment increased 4.79 per cent in FY21.
The company launched it in the Indian market at an initial price of Rs 4.95 lakh. It is the cheapest car in this segment, which had a direct impact on its sales. Triber sold 33,860 vehicles in FY 2020 (August 2019 to March 2020). Whereas, in FY 2021 (April 2020 to March 2021), 40,956 vehicles of Triber were purchased by customers.
New avatar launched in March
Renault India launched the 2021 version of its Triber in India last month (March 2021). Its starting price in the Indian market is Rs 5.30 lakh, which goes up to Rs 7.82 lakh on its top end variants. The company launched the 2021 model of Triber with new color options. Apart from this, some changes were also made to its exterior and interior.
The 2021 Renault Triber includes a dual horn as standard, which is available in all its variants. Apart from this, no new features have been included in the RXE and RXL trim. At the same time, the ORVMs of the RXT variants get new LED turn indicators, new steering-mounted audio and phone controls. Whereas, its top-spec RXZ trim gets a new height adjustable driver seat, mystery black roof with optional dual-tone exterior and ORVMs. Renault has included the new Cedar Brown paint scheme in its 2021 Triber Lift. Let us know that the new dual-tone exterior color option will be found only in the top specification model of 2021 Renault Triber.
