The Union Health Ministry said on Monday that 3,81,305 people in the country have been given vaccination against Covid-19so far. There have also been 580 cases of adverse effects after the vaccine.
Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Manohar Agnani said that till 5 pm on Monday, 1,48,266 people were given vaccines in 25 states and union territories. “As per the report (till 5 pm Monday), 3,81,305 people have been given vaccines,” he said.

On Monday, 1,48,266 people were vaccinated. Of these, 8,656 in Bihar, 1822 in Assam, 36,888 in Karnataka, 7070 in Kerala, 6,665 in Madhya Pradesh, 7,628 in Tamil Nadu, 10,352 in Telangana, 11,588 in West Bengal and 3111 in Delhi were vaccinated.
Agnani said that since the commencement of vaccination on January 16, 580 cases of adverse effects have been reported so far. Three people were admitted to hospitals in Delhi, out of which two have been discharged and one has been kept under observation at Max Hospital, Patpadganj.
A person was admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh in Uttarakhand and his condition is stable. One person has been kept under observation in Chhattisgarh while two people have been hospitalized in Karnataka. The additional secretary said, “There have been no cases of serious side effects of the vaccine so far.”
