Mumbai : Veteran actor of Marathi (Marathi) and Hindi films (Hindi films) Jayant Savarkar (Jayant Savarkar) died in a hospital here on Monday morning. He was 87 years old. His son Kaustubh Savarkar gave this information. Jayant Savarkar acted in films such as Marathi and Hindi films as well as theater and television for nearly six decades. His films include “Hari Om Vitthal”, “Gadabad Gondhal”, “66 Sadashiv” and “Bakal”, “Yugpurush”, “Vaastav” and “Singham”.

Kaustubh told the media, “About 10-15 days ago he was admitted to a hospital in Thane due to low blood pressure. He suddenly got very bad last night and was put on the spot. He passed away at around 11 am due to the old surgical lab.” He is survived by his wife, a son and two daughters. His last rites will be held on Tuesday.
