A girl was kidnapped by three miscreants riding a Scorpio car in Fatehpur Beri police station area of South Delhi. It is alleged that the accused carried out the gang rape incident by threatening to kill the girl. After this, he unloaded the girl from the car. Then on the way robbed 30 thousand rupees from a truck driver. The three accused have been arrested after receiving a call from the police.
South Delhi DCP Atul Thakur said that the arrested were Muljim Yogesh (26), Naveen (25) and Baljeet alias Monu (30). All three are residents of Aya Nagar area. They have also recovered Rs 5200 from the used Scorpio vehicle in the crime and the looted amount. The incident started late at night around 2 pm on March 18-19. In this, the miscreants committed two incidents.
Police said that the first PCR call was made in the case of the girl. In this, three boys in a Scorpio car quarrel with the victim’s brother. They picked up the girl who came to rescue them. He then overpowered the girl on the way. Police say the victim was sexually assaulted. A gangrape section has been imposed in the case.
After this, the accused also looted 30 thousand rupees from a truck driver who brought a brick from Baleni in Baghpat district. This incident of loot took place in Aya Nagar. In this case too, a PCR call was made to the police. The Scorpio vehicle was used in both incidents. Police investigated the case and recovered the car from a house in Aya Nagar. Later all three accused were also arrested.
Among the accused, Yogesh’s family are originally from Rewari. It has a building material supply shop in Aya Nagar. Where it works with the other accused Baljit. Baljeet’s father used to work in DTC. Naveen also has the job of supplying building materials in the city. It is also a property dealer. All three are friends.
