The family members of a 9-year-old girl who died under suspicious circumstances in Delhi have alleged gangrape and murder. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has demanded justice for the family members. Tomorrow he will meet the victim’s family. At the same time, the Delhi Commission for Women has issued summons to the police in the matter.

CM Arvind Kejriwal, questioning the law and order in Delhi, tweeted, ‘The murder of a 9-year-old innocent in Delhi after brutality is very shameful. There is a need to improve law and order in Delhi. The culprits should be given capital punishment at the earliest. Kejriwal further wrote in the tweet, ‘Going to meet the victim’s family tomorrow, will do everything possible to help the family in this fight for justice.’

At the same time, the Delhi Commission for Women has also come into action mode regarding the matter. Commission chairperson Swati Maliwal has issued summons to Delhi Police in the matter. Swati wrote on Twitter, ‘I have issued summons to Delhi Police in the case of death of 9 year old girl in Delhi Cantt.’ Earlier on Monday, Malvila had demanded justice for the victim’s family.

9-year-old girl dies in suspicious condition, gangrape and murder case registered in Delhi, 4 arrested

In fact, the relatives allege that on Sunday, their 9-year-old girl died in suspicious condition. Relatives say that the child was cremated by the accused with their consent. The allegation is on the pandit of the cremation ground and three other people. In this case, initially the police had registered a case in cases like death due to negligence, destruction of evidence and cremation of the dead body without informing the family members. After a meeting with the SC-ST commission in the matter on Monday evening, the police have added several sections including gang-rape, murder, POCSO, SC-ST Act and threatening to kill.
