Demand for Honda’s cars doubled, sales increased by 134 percent in June compared to the month of May

Honda Cars India has released the sales report for June 2021. The Japanese carmaker sold a total of 4,767 vehicles in the Indian market in June 2021. Whereas, in June 2020, the company sold a total of 1,398 vehicles in India. That is, the company’s sales have increased in the month of June this year as compared to last year. At the same time, compared with the month of May of this year, the company’s sales have registered a month-on-month increase of 134 percent. Let us know that in May 2021, Honda sold 2,032 cars in the Indian market.

Honda Cars sold 1,241 vehicles outside India in June 2021. At the same time, in June 2020, the company exported only 142 vehicles. Whereas, in May 2021, the company exported 385 vehicles.

In April 2021, Honda sold a total of 9072 vehicles in the Indian market. At the same time, in April last year, Honda did not sell a single car. Actually, last year in view of the threat of Corona epidemic, the Government of India had imposed a nationwide lockdown. Due to this, both production and sales of Honda vehicles were stopped last year.

What was the sales condition in the month of March?

Honda sold 7,103 vehicles in the Indian market in March 2021. Whereas, in March 2020, the company sold 3,697 units in India. The company’s sales grew by 92 percent in March 2021 as compared to March 2020.
