Dia Mirza narrated her ordeal – I wanted some things of my late father, which my step brother got

Dia Mirza told how she wanted some things related to her from her late father’s house, but all those things were found by her half-brother. However, what Diya got, she felt relieved and forgot all the pain. Please tell that Diya’s father Frank Hendrich was a German artist. Diya was only 9 years old when her father passed away.

Diya’s mother Deepa is a Bengali interior designer. Deepa and Frank’s marriage did not go well, they separated and Diya was only 5 years old at that time. Frank later married another woman. Deepa also later married Ahmed Mirza of Hyderabad, whose surname is still with Diya.

Dia talked about her biological father in an interview given to ‘Harper’s Bazaar’ magazine. In this interview, she told that she wanted some things out of her father’s property, but all the things went to her half-brother, who was born after his death. He said, ‘All his things belonged to my half-brother, who was born after his father’s death. A few years ago my step-brother came to Mumbai to meet me and my mother and I was showing him the house. He came towards the corridor where I had many photographs, one of them was from my childhood in which I am seen with my parents. At that very moment, the pain and suffering I had been carrying for so many years about my father’s things disappeared. I realized that the most valuable thing I have is my memories of them.

In the year 2018, Diya had also gone to meet her father’s family members. He also shared pictures of beautiful moments spent there.

Diya had told in an interview to ‘Miss Malini’ that she was very attached to her father at the age of 4. She considered him as her hero. Diya married Vaibhav Rekhi for the second time this year. Recently, Diya also became a mother, who has given birth to a son.
