Bhartiya Kisan Union (Lakhowal) Punjab general secretary Paramjit Singh said that farmers are not going to take out a rally in Rajpath and high security areas. He said that they would take out a rally only on Outer Ring Road in Delhi and this would not create any hindrance in the official Republic Day parade. Singh said, ‘We are stuck on the borders of Delhi. We did not decide ourselves to sit on these borders, we were prevented from entering Delhi. We will rally peacefully without disrupting law and order. We will use our constitutional authority and will definitely enter Delhi.

Delhi Police will take the final decision
Vice President of All India Kisan Sabha (Punjab) Lakhbir Singh said that the farmers will return to the demonstration sites after taking out a tractor trolley on Outer Ring Road on 26 January. Lakhbir said, “If Delhi Police have any problem with law and order on Republic Day, then they can have a meeting with United Kisan Morcha and tell them about alternative routes for the tractor rally. After this, our farmers committee will decide on this, but it is clear that a tractor rally will be held in the national capital on January 26.
