Baidyanath Temple is an auspicious place of worship for Hindus, famous for being one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. Known as Baidyanath Dham, Deoghar is considered to be the home of gods and goddesses. This temple is an ancient temple and is also a famous Hindu religious site. Naulakha Temple

Naulakha Temple is located in Deoghar, Jharkhand. Famous for Baba Baidyanath Dham Temple, this temple is just 1.5 km away from the main temple. 146 feet high, this temple is dedicated to Radha-Krishna. Since its construction cost 9 lakh rupees, it is also known as Naulakha (nine lakh) temple. This temple is very similar to the Ramakrishna temple of Belur. This temple was built by Queen Charushila of the Pathuria Ghat Raja’s family in Kolkata, West Bengal. Charushila was celebrating the death of her husband and son and to overcome it, Saint Balananda Brahmachari advised her to build this temple.

Basukinath Temple – Basukinath Temple

Located on the Deoghar-Dumka state highway in the Dumka district of Jharkhand, Basukinath is a popular place of worship for Hindus. Lakhs of pilgrims visit the temple every year from all parts of the country to worship Lord Shiva. In the month of Shravan, the crowd at the grand temple increases considerably, where not only local and national tourists but also international tourists come here. Basukinath Temple is believed to be the court of Baba Bhole Nath. The temples of Shiva and Parvati are situated right opposite each other in the Basukinath temple. The doors of both these temples open in the evening and it is believed that at this time Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati meet each other. There are also other temples in the complex which are dedicated to other gods and goddesses.

Here one can enjoy a joy ride or go boating in the area or visit Nandi Temple. The view of the sunset from Nandan mountain makes you very happy. Apart from the amusement park, Nandan Pahar also has a garden, and a pond. Nandan Pahar is managed and promoted by Jharkhand State Tourism Development Corporation. Trikuta Parvat – Trikuta Parvat

Trikuta Parvat (2,470 ft high) is named because of the topography of this place. The hill has three main peaks, hence the name Trikuta. About 10 kms drive from Deoghar and later ropeway ride will take you to the top of the hill. Trikuta, 24 km west of Deoghar, is famous for its hill temples. There are huge boulders in the hill. On the right is a small temple where Goddess Parvati is worshipped.

Tapovan Caves and Hills – Tapovan Caves and Hills

Tapovan is located 10 km away from the hotel. There is a temple of Shiva here which is the center of attraction for the pilgrims. The temple of Shiva is called Taponath Mahadev. Many caves are found on this hill. Shivling is installed in a cave and it is said that sage Valmiki came here for penance.
