In Madhubani district of Bihar, the Thanedar and the Inspector entered the judge’s chamber and beat him up at the point of a pistol. Hearing the noise from the chamber, the lawyers ran towards the chamber and freed the judge from the police station and the inspector. After this, the agitated lawyers took the police station and the inspector hostage in the court premises itself.

Meanwhile, the Patna High Court, taking suo motu cognizance of the attack on ADJ Avinash Kumar, has directed the DGP of Bihar to be present during the hearing of the case on November 29. Let us tell you, ADJ I Avinash Kumar is famous for his decisions in Jhanjharpur Court of Madhubani. A few days ago, the judge, while commenting on the SP, said that the SP was not aware of the law and ordered to send him for training.

Actually, ADJ I Avinash Kumar had asked Ghoghardiha police station in-charge Gopal Krishna Yadav to appear in court in a case. It was lunch time around 2.15 pm today. The judge got up from the court and went to his chamber. Then Ghoghardiha police station in-charge Gopal Krishna Yadav and Sub-Inspector Abhimanyu Kumar Singh along with him entered the judge’s chamber and started beating him by abusing him. Hearing the noise, the lawyers ran towards the chamber.

ADG beating up while abusing
Balram Sahu and Arun Kumar Jha, senior advocates of Jhanjharpur court and vice-presidents of the Bar Association, told that when they reached the chamber, they saw that ADJ had pointed a service revolver at the first Avinash Kumar. Two policemen are abusing them and beating them up. Both the policemen were identified by the name plates on their uniforms. One was Ghoghardiha police station head Gopal Krishna Yadav and the other was sub-inspector Abhimanyu Kumar Singh.

The policemen were saying- ‘We do not consider you as ADJ-FEDJ’: Lawyer
According to the eyewitness advocate, the policemen were telling ADJ that how dare you call us? Your power has been terminated. You keep bothering everyone unnecessarily. We do not consider you as ADJ-FEDJ.
