He said, ‘The whole world is accepting the way India has dealt with this epidemic today. India also put forward the example of how central and state governments, local bodies, every government institution, social institutions can work together better. The Prime Minister said that our country’s fight against Corona has been self-confidence and self-reliance. He said, “We will not let our confidence be weakened to fight this difficult battle, this pledge is shown in every Indian.”

PM Modi said that India kept vigil 24 hours, kept an eye on every event and took the right decisions at the right time. He said that India was one of the first countries in the world to start screening passengers at its airports. He said, ‘Janata curfew was also a test of the restraint and discipline of our society against Corona, in which every countryman succeeded. The Janata curfew prepared the country psychologically for lockdown. We kept the confidence of the country high by lighting the tali-thali and lamps.

The Prime Minister said that at the same time of crisis, when there was an atmosphere of despair all over the country, then the lives of the country’s physicians, health workers, ambulance drivers, Asha workers, sweepers, police and other personnel posted on the front front have to save their lives.
