The Union Health Ministry said on Sunday that 11,058 Oxigen concentrators, 13,496 Oxygen cylinders, 19 Oxygen production plants and about 5.3 lakh Remedesiver vials were received as global assistance. All these have been distributed to various states or union territories from 27 April to 15 May.
Since April 27, international donations and Covid-19relief medical supplies and equipment have been supported by various countries and organizations to enhance India’s efforts to combat the outbreak of the epidemic. The Ministry said that the Center is rapidly extending global support to the States and Union Territories to increase their resources and efforts.

The Ministry said, ‘Major consignments received from Kazakhstan, Japan, Switzerland, Ontario (Canada), US, Egypt and British Oxygen Company (UK) on 14-15 May 2021 include oxygen concentrators (100), ventilators or BIPAP or CPAP (500) ), Oxygen Cylinder (300), RemdesiVir (40,000), plus masks and protective suits.
