New Delhi: Dedicated to Lord Kaal Bhairav, the Rudravatar of Lord Shiva, ‘Kalashtami Vrat’ (Masik Kalashtami 2023) is observed on the Ashtami date of the Krishna Paksha of every month. This time the ‘Kalashtami Vrat’ of Ashadh month will be observed today i.e. June 10, 2023, on Saturday.
On this special day, there is a ritual of worshiping Lord Kaal Bhairav, the Rudravatar of Lord Shiva. It is told in the scriptures that by worshiping Lord Kaal Bhairav, all the troubles in life go away and the seeker gets happiness and prosperity. Date
According to the Panchang, the Ashtami Tithi of the Krishna Paksha of Ashadh month will begin on June 10 at 2.01 pm and this date will end the next day on June 11 at 12.05 pm.
On the day of ‘Kalashtami Vrat’, Lord Kaal Bhairav is worshiped at night. In such a situation, this fast will be observed on 10 June 2023, Saturday. Surya Yoga is being formed on this special day, which will last from 5.23 am to 3.40 pm.

On the day of ‘Kalashtami’, the fierce form of Lord Shiva, Baba Kalabhairav is worshipped. After taking bath in the morning, install a picture of Lord Shiva, Mother Parvati and Lord Ganesha by spreading a red cloth on a wooden post. Worship according to law. Offer white and blue flowers to Lord Shiva. Enjoy white sweets in the desert and then perform aarti by lighting a lamp. After fasting for the whole day, you can eat fruits in the evening. Then worship Kaal Bhairav at midnight with incense, black sesame seeds, lamp, fly agaric seeds, mustard oil. By doing this, the effect of Shani Dosh also reduces.

According to the scriptures, on the day of ‘Kalashtami Vrat’, worship Lord Kaal Bhairav in the morning after bathing and donating etc. Take a pledge of fasting by lighting a lamp in front of them. Along with this, the offering of Jalebi to Lord Kaal Bhairav is silent. By doing this all the wishes of the seeker are fulfilled. Chanting the mantra of Lord Kaal Bhairav 108 times on the day of ‘Kalashtami Vrat’ gives freedom from fear and guilt. Along with this, by lighting a mustard oil lamp in front of Lord Kaal Bhairav on this day, the seeker gets happiness and prosperity.
