Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa was found infected with the corona virus (BS Yeddyurappa Coronavirus Infection) on Friday. He is admitted to a private hospital for treatment. He has hit the Covid-19for the second time in eight months. Yeddyurappa (78) was earlier hospitalized on August 2, 2020 after being found infected with the corona virus. Yeddyurappa had also installed Corona vaccine on March 12.
Yeddyurappa tweeted, ‘After a mild fever, my Covid-19report showed infection today. I am fine, but am being admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors. The Chief Minister asked all the people who have come in contact recently to take care and go into isolation. The Chief Minister’s Office said in a statement, “If the Chief Minister had a fever complaint, he went to Ramaiya Hospital for general examination where he was tested for Kovid. He has now been admitted to Manipal Hospital after his report confirmed the infection. ‘
Last year too, there were 9 days in the hospital
Yeddyurappa had been admitted to Manipal Hospital for nine days after becoming infected last year as well. According to official sources, the chief minister shortened his tour scheduled for by-election campaign in Belagavi on Thursday after high fever and fatigue. Prior to this, he served as Health Minister Presided over an emergency meeting with Sudhakar and top officials on the situation of Covid-19in the state for about one and a half hours.
