Kiara Advani will be seen in ‘Sher Shah’, playing the character of Dimple Cheema

The film Shershaah starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani has been awaited for a long time. The film is a biopic of Kargil War hero Param Vir Chakra winner martyr Captain Vikram Batra. After the teaser and release date of the film, Kiara Advani’s first look from the film has also been released.

Kiara Advani will be seen in the role of Dimple Cheema, the fiancee of Captain Vikram Batra in this film. In this first look, Kiara is seen holding Sidharth Malhotra’s hand in a very simple look. Sharing the poster, Kiara wrote, ‘Only the promise that is made between two hearts matters and this story tells that some promises last for the whole life and beyond. Shershaah is releasing on 12th August.

Dimple Cheema came in the life of Captain Vikram Batra during college days. In 1995, he joined B.Sc Medical Science at DAV College, Chandigarh. At the same time he participated in the air wing of NCC and it was here that he met Dimple Cheema. Vikram Batra and Dimple’s relationship was only 4 years old. Even after the martyrdom of the captain, Dimple vowed not to marry for the rest of her life.
