Corona virus cases in Maharashtra are increasing wildly even after the lockdown. On Tuesday, 66 thousand new cases of corona were reported in the state. Meanwhile, if the number of patients does not stop, the period of mini lockdown implemented in the state can be increased. On Tuesday, Uddhav Thackeray government cabinet minister Vijay Vadettiwar has also indicated this. He suggested the state government to extend the mini lockdown by 15 more days.

According to Vijay Vadettivar, the cases of corona in the state are not taking the name of constant pause. In such a situation, the lockdown in Maharashtra should be increased by 15 days by 15 May. Maharashtra cabinet is scheduled to meet at 12:30 pm on Wednesday. It is believed that this decision can be taken in this meeting and the restrictions like lockdown in Maharashtra can be extended till May 15.

Explain that even after the imposition of mini lockdown in the state, the reduction in corona cases has come down. Every day around 50 thousand new patients are being found in the state. In the last 26 days, more than 1.5 million patients of corona have been exposed in Maharashtra. It is believed that by the end of this month, this figure will reach 20 lakhs. The state administration imposed a lockdown-like ban on April 22, in view of the increasing number of cases in the state.

Cases falling in Mumbai?
Meanwhile, cases of corona have started decreasing in the state capital, Mumbai. On April 14, where an average of 9 thousand new cases were coming up, now every day an average of 4-5 thousand new patients are coming out. On Tuesday, 3 thousand 999 new cases of corona were reported in Mumbai. However, it is also being told that due to reduced testing, the number of new patients in the capital is decreasing.

The total number of active patients in the state is 6 lakh 72 thousand 434.
