A surprising case involving gay marriage came to light in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Where after marrying each other due to a love affair, a young woman pleaded for justice in the police station to get rid of the problem faced by the family.

According to the information, a young woman who reached the police station on Tuesday evening alleged that she and her wife had been imprisoned by her family. Hearing the entire case, the police freed the girl from the family’s confinement and settled the family and the two women.

The case is from the Thakurganj police station area of ​​Lucknow, where a young woman from Dubugga area reached the police station on Tuesday evening accusing the family of harassment. The victim said that for the past few months, she was having a love affair with a young woman from the area. But the family was constantly opposed to this relationship. The two women married each other in Budheshwar on 17 November 2020 to convert the love affair into a relationship between family opposition.

The victim accused the family that even after getting married, pressure is being put on them by the family to end the relationship. The woman alleged that the girl’s family locked the two in the house and snatched away the mobile phone to prevent contact with outsiders. Somehow, a young woman from the confinement of the family came out of the roof and came to the police station and lodged a complaint about the case.

Inspector Sunil Dubey, in charge of Thakurganj police station, said that both of them are married as well as they wish. On the one hand both the women want to live together, on the other side the family were opposing it. On Tuesday, the second girl was also rescued from the house on the basis of the application given by the girl, who came to the police station disturbed by the harassment of the family. The families opposed it, but the young women were not willing to live apart. Eventually, the police got a reconciliation agreement between the families of the two women.
