‘Main Hoon Na’ audition went to ‘Main Hoon Na’ audition to hide glamorous clothes from the people of the chawl, reveals Rakhi Sawant

Rakhi Sawant, popularly known as the drama queen in the Bollywood industry, is always in the news for one reason or the other. Now Rakhi Sawant has told the story of her audition (Rakhi Sawant Main Hoon Na Audition) in the film ‘Main Hoon Na’ in the year 2003. Actually, Rakhi Sawant recently appeared as a guest in a comedy show. During this, director and choreographer Farah Khan was also present. Rakhi Sawant thanks Farah Khan for giving her a chance to work in the film.

Rakhi Sawant played the role of a glamorous girl named Mini in the film Main Hoon Na. According to Spotboye’s report, Rakhi Sawant said, ‘I used to give my best and drink only one bowl of lentils every day to look slim and fit. Though things were not going well but one day I got a call from Farah Khan madam’s office. He called me for an audition at Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies office and things changed from there. As soon as I hung up the phone, I lost consciousness. My mother gave me another bowl of lentils, then I came to my senses. After that started preparing for the audition.

Rakhi Sawant further revealed how she had to hide her clothes from the people of her chawl. Rakhi Sawant said, ‘I was told that I have to look glamorous in my character. But in the chawl where you lived at that time, you could not go out in glamorous clothes. So I asked my mother what should I do? Mother gave me a set of curtains, which I draped over my glamorous clothes and went to audition.

Rakhi Sawant said that Farah Khan trusted her and gave her a chance to audition. Rakhi Sawant said that when she reached the venue, she removed the curtains and spoke her lines. The team liked him and offered the role.
