At that time we did not have a tractor, so we used to plow the field using oxen. After working in the fields, by 10 o’clock I would get ready to go to school. Even after doing most of the farm work in the morning, I used to go there in the evening. I really enjoyed being there. I had grown mostly rice and sugarcane crops. I did farming till the age of 22 and after that I went to Vadodara to pursue my studies. There I started working as a chemist.
