LucknowBahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati says that she is completely healthy now and the party does not need any successor. Regarding his successor, he said that in future only a Dalit leader who worked hard for the party would be made his successor. Talking to the press, Mayawati said, ‘My health is fine now, I don’t need anyone to make me my successor. But when my health is not good then I will definitely declare my successor. I am fit now and it will take me years to become unfit. Corona has been going on for the last two years, but thanks to nature, I did not even have a disease like corona. Regarding her successor, she said, ‘But when I declare my successor, it will be only from the downtrodden class, who have supported me and the party with all honesty and whole body, mind, money in every difficult hour. There were big ups and downs in the party but those who belong to the Depressed Classes did not budge. Taking a dig at Congress, Mayawati alleged that despite losing public support, it is spreading rumors and defaming her party. Referring to a Congress booklet for distributing its workers in Congress training programs, he said that now the condition of Congress in the country is very bad. He alleged, “Congress brings people in rallies on daily wages. The day the Congress rally takes place, the daily wage workers are very happy and say that today we will not have to work. This is the culture of mobilizing the Congress. The condition of Congress is very bad in the country as well as in the states. He also alleged that the Congress does not find candidates to contest in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections and has to take the help of capitalists to give money to the candidates to contest the elections. He said that the Congress party has no support base. Mayawati’s attack on the Congress came after reports that the Congress has prepared a 24-page booklet for distribution to party workers, accusing the opposition parties of wrongdoing and looting the state. Congress media convener Ashok Singh told that these booklets are for distribution among the two lakh party workers participating in the training programmes. Singh told that in this information has been given about how misinformation campaign is being run against the party in the media and social media and how the opposition parties, SP and BSP etc. have looted the state. Attacking the Congress, the BSP chief said that instead of commenting on the opposition parties, the party should have mentioned its shortcomings in the booklet and arranged its house first.
