Navneet played the role of ‘Maya’, daughter of villain Bijlani (Dilip Tahil) in the film, who wanted to marry Rahul (Aamir Khan). There was also a kissing scene of both of them in the film, but this scene was removed from the film.

In the film, when ‘Maya’ and ‘Rahul’ inherit, he (Navneet) goes to their house. Then Aamir Khan had also misbehaved with him. Regarding the kissing scene, Navneet said, ‘Aamir is rich. His whole day was kissing scene. He said that there should be a kiss in Continuity. That’s why they kissed Aamir several times on the cheek and practiced this throughout the day.
