MG Motor India has released a sales report for February 2021. The Chinese authorized British carmaker sold a total of 4,329 cars in February 2021, an increase of 215 per cent over February 2020. However, in February 2020, the company was only selling vehicles like MG Hector and MG ZS EV in the Indian market. Whereas, now the company is also selling vehicles like Hector, ZS EV along with MG Hector Plus and MG Gloster in the Indian market.
If we compare the sales of the company in February to the previous month i.e. January 2021, then the sales of MG Motor have registered a 20% month-on-month increase. Explain that in January 2021, the company sold 3,602 vehicles in the Indian market.
MG Hector and MG Hector Plus: CVT variants
Earlier last month, MG Motor India launched the CVT automatic gearbox variants of its MG Hector and MG Hector Plus in India. MG Hector and MG Hector Plus CVT: Power performance
The new CVT unit from MG Hector and MG Hector Plus comes with a 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 141 bhp of power and 250 Nm of peak torque.
