Munmun Dhamecha’s release stuck due to money, lawyer said – we do not have 1 lakh rupees

Justice Nitin Sambre asked Dhamecha’s counsel to file an application and mention the matter before the vacation bench. In the High Court, Munmun Dhamecha’s lawyer Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh had held his client’s arrest illegal. Taking a jibe at NCB, he had said that no drugs were recovered from Munmun on the cruise nor did he consume any. Rather, when she reached the cruise, a few minutes after that NCB had reached for the raid.

Khan had also said that in the room where Munmun was on the Dhamecha cruise, there were two more people named Saumya Singh and Baldev, but why did NCB only take Munmun into custody.
