Talking about her journey, Nora had told IANS that she faced a lot of difficulties in the initial days of her career. Nora had said, ‘Life is very difficult for foreigners in India. We had to bear a lot. He said- I remember my first agency, which brought me here from Canada, when I expressed my desire to separate from them, they refused to return my money. At that time I lost my 20 lakh rupees, which I had earned so hard through the ad campaign.

Nora had told that she was also bullied a lot about her accent. Nora had told that she was learning Hindi very slowly, but people made fun of her and she was not ready for it. Nora used to be very upset because people used to laugh seeing her face as if she was running a circus. Nora said that they used to bully her, it was quite insulting. When Nora used to return home, she used to cry often.

Nora had told that her casting agent had told so much that she did not need him, she could return to her place.
